Pupil leadership
Pupil Leadership
Pupils at TPA have lots of opportunities to take on leadership roles at different times during their learning journey with us.
School Council
We have elected School Councillors (2 per year group) who work with Miss Erin to ensure that the school is listening to pupils and also that we are looking outward at ways to help our community. In the past year, TPA's School Councillors have organised food bank donations; organised the school's Children in Need dance off and made valuable decisions about play times.
School Council elections are in October each year.
House Captains
Once children are in Year 6, there is the chance to become a House Captain. These important pupils are chosen by their peers and teachers to hold this position of responsibility. House Captains help Miss Hana with the newsletter each week; help to organise House Days; support younger years with the journey to and from assembly and can even award stickers or emblems to year groups!
Pupil Parliament
In Year 6, two children are chosen to represent the school at the Richmond Pupil Parliament. This is our first year participating in this exciting event!
Sports Leaders
Our Sports Leaders (from Year 6), support Mr Wojciech in the summer term with our outdoor sports. They help with the organisation of Sports Day and other large events.
Monitors
In each class, teachers and students choose a range of monitors - from library to dining hall, there are jobs to suit everyone. We encourage all children to take responsibility and make the school the place that they would like to be.
